About
Kat Von Rhau: A Counselor and Therapist Who Can Help You
My name is Kat Von Rhau. Over the years, I have passed many deep ditches and a few high mountains to find fulfillment in my journey. I'm no heroine or a celebrity. In fact, I'm just an ordinary person.
About Me
I have been a licensed clinical social worker for more than 40 years. Aside from this, I was on the faculty of the Gestalt Institute Of Phoenix for 32 years. I trained therapists in experiential therapy, which is a field of study where you experience yourself, feelings, thoughts, and sensations, rather than intellectualizing them from a control tower or a detached standpoint.
What Influenced Me
My work is affected by emotional awareness as well as Jungian, Buddhist, and Christian thoughts. Being internally at peace can be rare, but it is still important to remember how it feels since you will use it as a reference point for when you’re feeling down.
My Approach
I am trained extensively in couples therapy. Regardless of you and your partners’ gender or sexual orientation, I would be more than happy to help you navigate your way through your relationship issues.
During our sessions, I always make sure to listen with an open mind. I also make sure not to give myself over to others at the expense of myself, which is something that so many women are taught to do.
When you find your own thread and follow it, you are able to unravel yourself and find your center. I once thought that to love is to give everything to the other person. In the middle of another abandonment, I eventually realized that only I could meet my own needs and interests as I support and love myself.
Although I still have meaningful relationships, I realize that I like my own company an awful lot. There is a sweetness in me that was rarely valued and certainly not respected. Now, I can value and enjoy it myself.
I take time to explore fun and exciting activities. Dancing is one of the great discoveries.
Come see me if you are looking for your own wonderland where you have a warm family life, are meditating on a tree branch, or in white ash like a sadhu. You can even be a cat, woman, child, tree, man, an art lover, a fairy princess, or a queen in it.
Your Well-Being Is My Priority
I know how painful it is when your buttons are pushed and you feel hurt, vulnerable, abandoned, or angry. Through my work, I hope to become a therapist or person who can be present while you explore your injured self.
The feeling of being alive, feeling good, relates to the awareness of growing to be oneself. Count on me to be there as you steady yourself, find your inner center, improve your self-esteem, and discover a spiritual meaning, however hard it may seem.
Connect With Me
It is hard to face the truth on our own since we can be ambivalent about various things.
